Scoutmaster Marco
Boy Scout Films is led by filmmaker and adventurer, Marco King. Always on the search for truth and beauty in the world he has completed numerous adventures. He has climbed snow-laden peaks beyond the arctic circle, walked hundreds of kilometres along wild and rugged African coastlines, spent months travelling by bicycle and regularly heads out from his base in Cape Town for van-life roadtrips. He works professionally in the film industry as a DOP and Gimbal Operator and surfs whenever he isn’t putting his eye to the lens.
Having founded Boy Scout Films, Marco’s vision is to create quality, engaging films for the growing brands and content platforms of today.
He works with a troop of freelance producers, editors, animators, cameramen and specialists with multiple scout badges to show their prowess.
